What feels like a “hundred” years ago, Shelley started her career in the world of finance as a Financial Consultant with Merrill Lynch. However, she knew this was not her calling and left the firm to work at a local garden and design firm in Florida and never looked back. From years of experience in the design world, both personally and professionally, Shelley has the ability to relate to her clients and their needs to create a home that truly reflects them. She understands that the building and remodeling process can be both stressful and overwhelming from personal experience, so she can easily relate to her clients. Shelley feels strongly that good communication is the key to ensuring a smooth process. Shelley McIlroy Design specializes in all design needs. From renovations to new construction, Shelley is committed to fulfilling and accommodating various levels of design to create a space that feels both natural and organic to the client.
